Watauga River
Fishing has been on fire producing large numbers of rainbows and brown trout. Fishing the Watauga river this time of year means be ready to adapt from using a size 20 zebra midge to dry flies on top. A attractor pattern with a Frenchie or midge will sure produce good numbers of fish.

South Holston River
Low flows on the South Holston river have been fishing great. Long stealthy casts while presenting a dry dropper have been producing numbers along with a few quality fish.

South Holston River
Low flows on the south holston river makes for some entertaining shallow water fishing. Besides the extreme navigation issues and long cast with micro bugs can put your angling ability to the test. Fishing has been great with many rainbows and browns willing to take your fly if you present it correctly. Dry droppers are a great combo this time of year.

Kingsport Section of the South Holston River - Smallmouth were biting on a variety of streamers and top water. Numbers were great along with size.
